Sittting in Matthew this morning , as been on my heart to start in the gospels and walk along side Jesus’ life and know Him more , Matthew 6 reading these scriptures and meditating them in my heart , I’m stoped at the importance of forgiveness verse 12 forgive as the wrongs we have done as we ourselves release forgiveness to those who have wronged us
I love how the passion bible words this passage and in verse 14 and when you praymake sure you forgive the faults of others so that your father in heaven will also forgive you vs15 but if you withhold forgiveness from others your father withhold forgiveness from you.
Wow forgiveness it’s a term that gets throwed around , but the importance and significanceit holds with our relationship with Jesus . Forgiveness the hardest at times , but yet so simple in our minds but it’s our hearts where the truth lies with hurts and anger we hold against others . The more we say it and pray for those we withhold forgives towards the more it gets in our hearts and over time that hurt and ugliness melts away , it starts will a willing heart , unforgiveness Poisons us not others , so today let it go leave it to the feet of Jesus , be free , let God’s love and His word change your heart ❤️
